Tanacetum parthenium. Sesquiterpene lactones (parthenolide) inhibit platelet aggregation, serotonin release, and prostaglandin synthesis. The stabilised CO2 extract MIG-99 has Level B/C evidence for migraine prevention; unstandardised dried leaf is inconsistent. Avoid in pregnancy; abrupt discontinuation can cause rebound headache.
